Mamaw and Daddy-Ken are both in the hospital, and neither of them are looking too great. If they make it, they both have to go to a nursing home, because Mom and Aunt Beth are both unable to physically care for them anymore, plus they need to be in hospice. Mamaw isn't taking the news well, and Daddy-Ken doesn't seem to really get it yet. So, ( Read more... )

My grandmother just got out of gallbladder surgery.  It went well, and she's in recovery now.  We'll see if it helps her at all in the next few days, I suppose.

Posting this via phone at the hospital.  I'm visiting my grandmother, who isn't doing well.  She's having gallbladder surgery tomorrow, and I'm really worried about her.  She has apparently been moaning and saying "oh, Lord" nonstop, which is kind of funny in a really sad way.  :(  She also fell off the bed yesterday.
